Chicago police issued a missing person alert early this morning for a missing 11-year-old girl who may be with a 22-year-old man.
Police said Jennifer Hurtado of the 4300 block of South Talman Avenue may be heading for Mexico or North Carolina with the man, identified by police as her boyfriend, Jose "Carlos" Contrerras. The girl is described as Hispanic, 4-feet-8 and 100 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
She was last seen wearing a yellow shirt with "Shields" written in purple lettering. She was wearing that shirt over a black T-shirt, blue jeans and black slip-on shoes.
