Eduardo Caraballo, a U.S. citizen born in Puerto Rico, was arrested last week in Berwyn, Illinois in connection to a stolen car.
When his mother posted bail Friday, the police didn¿t let him go, claiming that he was an illegal immigrant, even though Caraballo presented his ID and birth certificate as proof.
In Arizona, they want everybody to be able to prove they're legally in the country. They want everybody to prove that they're an American citizen.
As you can see in the video we had an American citizen, that the federal governmentcould not determine, for more than three days, his status as an American citizen.
Apparently enforcements think Puerto Ricans look Mexican.
All you need to do is show your documents and everything will be OK, Right?
